WASHINGTON (NEXSTAR) – We are officially two weeks out from Election Day and Vice President Kamala Harris and former president Donald Trump are trying to convince undecided voters to support their campaigns.

Both candidates are campaigning in key swing states to rally support, especially among voters who are still on the fence.

“He really does not have a plan for America,” said Harris.

Former president Donald Trump reunited two unlikely allies, Vice President Kamala Harris and former Republican Congresswoman Liz Cheney.

“I’ve never voted for a Democrat,” said Cheney.

Cheney said supporting Vice President Harris is easy in this election.

“We need to elect the person who is the responsible adult,” said Cheney.

Cheney joined the vice president on the campaign trail again to reach out to Republican voters in Michigan, Pennsylvania and Wisconsin.

“Do we want a president of the United States who spends full time plotting revenge while they sit in the Oval Office or a president who is actually focused on the American people?” Harris asked.

Trump campaigned in another key state, North Carolina.

“I’m with you and the American people are with you all the way,” said Trump.

He toured the aftermath of Hurricane Helene with state and local officials like Senator Ted Budd (R-N.C.).

“It’s going to take a lot of work for Western North Carolina, and I don’t think anybody that’s running for office understands it as well as you do,” said Budd.

Trump also repeated debunked claims about FEMA’s response and refused to walk back his comments when asked.

“By doing that, they’ll do a better job next time. It’s very important,” said Trump.

At a campaign rally Trump also courted voters, particularly his Christian base, when recalling the assassination attempt against him.

“I would like to think that God saved me for a purpose and that’s to make our country greater than ever before,” said Trump.

Trump is back in North Carolina later Tuesday, while Harris is doing interviews with NBC and Telemundo.
